Summary

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity to support students with special educational needs?

We need dedicated individuals to join our team on a full-time basis. If you have at least six months of experience working in SEN settings and possess, or are willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS on the updated service, we want to hear from you!
- As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs.
- Working closely with classroom teachers and SENCOs, you will provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of students and ensure they have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
- From assisting with classroom activities to providing one-on-one support, you will contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
- Provide support to students with special educational needs within the classroom environment.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to deliver high-quality support and interventions.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their confidence and independence in learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Contribute to the overall pastoral care and well-being of students within the school setting.
- Minimum of six months' experience working in a special educational needs environment.
- Possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the updated service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
- Adaptability and resilience in responding to the diverse needs of students.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs would be advantageous.
