Summary
Podiatry Administrator Reading Band 3–Fixed Term till 31stMarch 2025with the possibility of becoming permanent(18.75hours)
Berkshire Healthcare are seekingadedicatedPodiatryadministrator(clerical Officer)to join their team based atRoyal Berkshire Hospital, Reading.We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills who would enjoy working within a dynamic and friendly team.
The successful candidates will need to have excellent communications skills, beorganisedand flexible and be able to demonstrate their ability to work on their own as well as in collaboration with others. They willbe responsible forthe management of patient referrals and appointments whilst creating an efficient and compassionate environment for ourpatient’s.
• Take responsibility for processing referrals for inpatients and outpatients for the Acute Podiatry Team, and booking MDT clinic appointments
• Liaise with necessary services to support andassistpatients as needed, such as patient transport, interpreting services and other outpatient departments.
• Be the first point of contact for patients, ward staff and other hospital servicescontacting thepodiatry department
• Collect data and statistics toassistmanagement in guiding the service direction.
• Work flexibly in response to the needs of the patients,serviceand Podiatrists.
• Supporting colleagues to deliver a high quality, effective and compassionate service
