Due to growth within our service area, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Electrical Team as an Assistant Contracts Manager (M&E). In this role, you will assist in managing our specialist contractors to deliver a high-quality service for our customers. You will be working with and supported by our two R&M Contract Managers (Mechanical and Electrical) delivering the specialist cyclical and responsive maintenance of Passenger Lifts, FME, Fire Fighting Equipment, Commercial Laundry Equipment, Automatic Gates and Barriers, Generators / UPS, HVAC and Lightning Protection Systems.

What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will: • Assist in the co-ordination and delivery of specialist mechanical and electrical works via contractors. • Promote and embed safe working practices and deliver works to a high standard. • Have a keen eye for detail ensuring relevant certificates, databases and other relevant information is accurate and updated. • Great knowledge and experience of applying and working to relevant British Standards and ACOP’s. • Be able to engage and work with key internal and external stakeholders. • Be provided with a company van for business use and commuting. • Be keen to learn new skills and continually develop their knowledge. The role is subject to a basic DBS paid for by Gentoo.
