Purovets is offering an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated individual to take charge of two small animal practices in South West England. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Practice Manager to oversee our clinics in Exeter and Torquay.

Exeter, known as the gateway to Devon and Cornwall, is ideally located just 5 minutes from the M5 and A30, providing easy access to all of Devon, Cornwall, Bristol, beaches, moors, and more. Torquay, a newly acquired practice as of last November, is equipped with the latest veterinary technology and is supported by a well-established team.

The Exeter practice boasts advanced equipment including cardiac ultrasound, dental x-rays, K-laser, and endoscopes, along with a full in-house lab for bloods, biochemistry, and urine analysis. It also features an aseptic theatre and prep room, spacious waiting room and consult rooms, separate dog kennels, cattery, and exotic ward. The clinic handles a diverse caseload with numerous exotic cases including birds, primates, reptiles, and snakes. The supportive team consists of vets, RVNs, SVNs, and Patient Care Assistants.

The Torquay practice includes state-of-the-art equipment such as ultrasound, x-ray, in-house lab, and dentistry tools. The team comprises five vets and PCAs, all committed to providing excellent patient care.

As the Practice Manager, you will deliver outstanding client care, monitor feedback, and implement improvements. You will manage and optimise practice rotas to maintain high service levels and drive commercial performance through effective financial management and marketing strategies. Leading and mentoring a diverse team to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment will also be crucial.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing and leading a team, strong financial management and marketing skills, and excellent numeracy and analytical abilities. A proactive approach to improving client care and operational efficiency is essential.

The Role:
• Full Time role - 5 day week
• 40 hour week: 9am - 5pm
