We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to become the Clinical Lead for Harrow 0-19 years service.

The post holder will be familiar with the full offer within the Healthy Child Programme and core mandated contacts.

With responsibility for supporting, supervising and developing the team to promote the universal health service to improve physical and emotional health outcomes for all children.

The post holder will work closely with the Children's Clinical Service Managerin the delivery of 0-19 services, ensuring an integrated approach with specialist services, focused on meeting the needs of children and their family/carers in Harrow

They will also be committed to the CNWL values of compassion, respect, empowerment and partnership

Informal visits are encouraged.
• To provide leadership, overall management and service delivery of the Children’s 0-19 Universal Service.
• The post holder will work closely with the Team Leads, other Service Leads and with the Senior Manager’s to ensure delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and associated Key Performance Indicators are met.
• To ensure delivery of the highest quality to all children and families within contracted performance levels
• Provision of leadership, supervision, training and support to staff in the service with oversight of relevant training and support to professionals working with children and young people across Harrow.
• Works with the Senior Manager’s in the development of the 0-19 Service, identifying where improvements in the service can be made or redesigned.
• Lead and develop service Policy and Guidelines and contribute to Organisational policies and guidelines
• Work with the Professional Development and Leadership Groups and ensuring quality assurance issues are identified/addressed through robust auditing and monitoring of standards.
• Maintain registration with the NMC and work within all its guidelines at all times.
• Adhere to all CNWL and Local policies and procedures

Operational Management

· Take responsibility on behalf of the Clinical Service Manager for the operational management and continuity of children’s 0-19 services.

· Provide leadership to and be responsible for team leaders in the day to day running of the teams, promoting multidisciplinary working and ensuring organisational and divisional barriers do not prevent the development and functioning of integrated care pathways and high-quality patient care.

· Undertake regular audit of adherence to associated local and national policies, guidance (e.g. NICE) and standards of care

· Contribute to the achievement of standards within the areas of responsibility, working effectively with other service managers and clinical staff to ensure agreed standards are maintained

· Prepare and deliver service reviews as agreed, reporting on the performance of services within area of responsibility.
