Summary

Harvey McQueen are extremely pleased to be recruiting for our clients based in Bolton. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Sales Support Administrator. The ideal candidate will have strong administration skills and an excellent telephone manner.
Briefly about the role
• This is a back office role which would be based at our clients’ office in Bolton.
• Involves searching for and providing leads for the sales team to visit.
• The successful candidate would need to be highly computer literate, the job involves a lot of research via social media and the internet.
• Excellent communications skills also required, confidently being able to speak to external sources for lead information.
• An excellent telephone manner is a must.
• You would be part of a small back office team.
• Regularly liaising with the Sales Manager and a team of sales agents.
• Salary is £11.44 per hour x 19 hours per week with a regular bonus scheme. If the sales team reach or exceed their targets there is a potential £3600 - £6000 bonus on top of the salary which is paid monthly.
• The hours for this role are 7am until 5pm but occasionally we would require cover from 7am until 3pm for holidays etc.
Job Specification
• Provide vital support and sales administration to our sales team across the UK
• Search for and locate new incidents for the sales team to visit, using extensive research of social media including twitter and facebook feeds, news feeds and media voicebanks
• Handle administration tasks as required including in depth internet research, creating letters, answering and making calls to ascertain further information about a particular lead
• Provide an efficient point of bank up contact for our sales team
• Verify sales leads as necessary when located
• Advise and distribute sales leads efficiently and effectively via advice from the sales manager
• Effectively manage and handle follow up leads with our sales team, ensuring maximum sales targets are reached
• Work towards whole team sales targets and provide reports to management as required relating to lead conversion
Necessary attributes for a successful candidate
• Flexibility – The core office hours are from 7.00am until 5pm at our office in Bromley Cross, however we offer cover via various shift patterns. We will require you to cover hours of other employees as and when is necessary which will mean a change in hours of 7am until 3pm. This is not likely to be more than 6 weeks per annum.
• Excellent computer literacy skills - we are looking for someone who is competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) - experience of working on the internet is essential.
• Experience of working with social media including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram is desired
• Good written and verbal communication skills - must be efficient and organised
• Excellent telephone manner – you will be speaking to our sales team and external parties regularly
• Willingness to learn with an optimistic and enthusiastic approach. A desire to be helpful and enjoy working as part of a team
