Summary
he job holder will provide assistance to the veterinary nurses in the care of our patients and general maintenance of the surgery premises. They will also help to provide a professional, effective and organised client reception when required.
This is a full-time role based on working 37.5 hours per week on a rota Monday-Friday between 8:30am-6:30pm. At the moment there are no weekend commitments to this role but in the future there is the potential that Saturday working would be re-introduced.
Previous animal handling experience would be an advantage along with previous experience of working within a veterinary practice. Candidates must be confident communicators with strong interpersonal skills. There is the potential that this role could lead to an SVN Apprenticeship in the future which would require someone to have 5 GCSE passes including Maths, English and a Science subject (not planned for at least a year ahead).
