Purchasing Assistant
Champneys Head Office
Contract: Part TimeSalary: up to £28,000 per annum [pro rata]
The Purchasing Assistance will be joining a successful and challenging business where the ideal candidate will possess commercial and interpersonal skills combined with solid procurement experience. A Purchasing Assistant is needed to support the function of the Group Purchasing Manager.
As a Purchasing Assistance, some of your duties and responsibilities include;
- Administration of purchasing systems
- Administration of suppliers information on purchasing database
- Ordering and replenishing stock levels of stock held in central warehouse
- Raising central and forward purchase orders of approved suppliers
- Close interaction with all stake holders across the business and also suppliers
- Assist with gathering and formatting of information for tenders
