Summary
Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for full details of responsibilities. To co-ordinate the response to medical, psychiatric emergencies on the hospital site. To deploy staff in urgent/emergency situations to achieve safe staffing levels within available resources. To ensure the requirements of the Mental Health Act 2007 and other statutory regulations are observed and implemented. To ensure that all staff comply with Trust policies and procedures.To ensure that Risk Management and Health & Safety requirements are implemented. To be conversant with the Major Incident and Fire Evacuation Procedures. Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs.
