Refrigeration Engineer
£43-£45k per annum plus extensive benefits package
South Coast (Field Based – Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth)
Permanent, Full Time, Day Shifts
Concept Recruitment are working with our engineering client to recruit an experienced Refrigeration Engineer on a permanent, full-time basis.
This a field-based role covering the South Coast area (Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth) and a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most dynamic refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning service providers in Europe.
Role Responsibilities:
· Carrying out refrigeration, reactive and proactive work in line with our client’s Standard Operating Procedures and Key Performance Indicators
· Collecting and fitting parts as directed by the Senior Managing Engineer
· Diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns
· Carrying out calls as allocated by Service Control
· Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely manner
· Working safely in line with health and safety procedures
You will need:
· Experience working on; refrigeration and alarm systems, air conditioning and building controls, food factory equipment, general equipment, electrical, and fabric repairs
· A ‘F-GAS 2079 Refrigeration Handling’ qualification
· CO2 experience
· Basic HVAC experience desirable
· An excellent attitude and approach to work
· Highly self-reliant, motivated and enthusiastic
· Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills
· Commitment to quality and attention to detail
