An international compliance services company based in Stratford-upon-Avon are now seeking to recruit individuals for their packaging and waste management teams for the UK and Overseas teams.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.
They are looking for individuals who have experience in data interrogation and compliance and would probably suit individuals from either an AGC (SPS) or perhaps Int Corps backgrounds or similar where you have been responsible for making sure records and data are kept to the highest standards.
You will be reporting to a Line Manager, and you will be joining a team of about 150 personnel, however these two roles are brand new within the company and will expect this team to grow significantly in the next few years.
Your role will be to uphold the highest standards of data accuracy, reliability, and compliance in their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting. This role is crucial in ensuring that all data submitted for compliance purposes is thoroughly validated and verified, maintaining the integrity of the reporting processes. Your role is dedicated to conducting thorough sign offs, identifying discrepancies, and implementing improvements to their data management practices, thereby supporting their commitment to regulatory compliance and enhancing the overall quality of their EPR compliance reports.
Your key accountabilities will include the following:
• Data Validation and Verification, which includes sign offs to ensure the accuracy of the data, identify and correct any errors, implement validation protocols to maintain data integrity.
• Data Quality Assessment, assess date for accuracy, completeness and reliability, while identifying patterns or trends and recommend improvements on the data structure
• Process Improvement Recommendations, identify inefficiencies in the current process, and propose and develop improvements and implement the changes as needed and monitor the impact on the changes
• Cross-Functional Collaboration, conduct training for the data management team, give ongoing support and guidance, work with the IT and ops to ensure integrity of the data, and share audit findings with others internally
• Regulatory Updates, which means keep up to date and make sure the company is following the regulations as they change.
To be eligible for this role you will need the following experience and skills
• Proven experience in data management, quality control, or a related field
• Previous experience conducting sign offs preferable
• Strong knowledge of packaging and waste regulations in different jurisdictions would be highly desirable.
• Experience in creating and reviewing compliance reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data validation.
• Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (e.g., EPIC, Excel) preferable
• Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide training on data integrity
• Applicants should be educated to degree level or possess solid work experience in related field.
As stated, this role is a hybrid/remote role, and during probation, which is 6 months, you will be expected to work in the office at least 1 to 2 days per week in Stratford-upon-Avon, and once probation is completed it will drop to 1 day per week.
