Pay: £12.71 per hour (£45 per Sleep-In Shift)
Position: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Mansfield, NG18 (Just a 7 min drive from Mansfield Train Station)

Who Will I Be Supporting?

You will be supporting a friendly gentleman in his 40s with mild learning disabilities. He leads an active and social life, enjoying a range of interests:

- Volunteering: Committed to a volunteer role five days a week.

- Hobbies: Collecting model vehicles and attending car shows.

- Travel: Loves going on holidays to Europe and trying new things.

- Entertainment: Enjoys cinema trips, home movies, and eating out.

He lives independently and maintains close relationships with his family, who are very involved in his life. We're seeking a patient, organized, and friendly support worker who excels in the kitchen and can build positive relationships with both internal and external professionals.

What Will You Be Doing?

- Empowering Independence: Support him to live his life how he chooses and achieve his personal goals.

- Daily Living Support: Provide encouragement for personal care, meal preparation, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

- Building Relationships: Work closely with internal and external professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

- Social Engagement: Support him in his volunteering role and accompany him on social outings.

Set Shift Patterns

- Long Day Sleep-In Shifts: 7am - 7am the following day (Includes Sleep-In Shift)

- Sleep-In Shifts: 11pm - 7am (Paid To Sleep)

Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
