Summary

You’ll be joining a productive and successful Brand and Corporate Partnerships team. Since 2020, we have brought in millions of additional funding in support of our work, and you’ll help us take this to the next level.

We’re looking for someone who shares our ambitious vision in promoting Forestry England and our forests on a cinematic platform.

You will report to the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships and will be a confident and engaging location manager with a detailed understanding of broadcast unit, filming and photography crew operations. You’ll have experience of negotiating fees and contracts, with knowledge of copyright law in relation to film and TV work.

You will have experience of working collaboratively with senior colleagues and stakeholders to establish a new work area, gaining support and recognition for what you do, internally and externally. You’ll be confident with managing budgets and comfortable working to income generation targets each year.

We want to hear from candidates who have a network of industry contacts, and market insight, that can be used to establish this new, national programme. We’re particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience of working in unusual, sometimes challenging, outdoor locations with an awareness of sustainability and ecological considerations.

Our ideal candidate will have sharp commercial acumen, proactively identifying further income generation opportunities as a result of filming and photography work taking place across our estate. You will also manage proactive communications around high-profile filming that has taken place in Forestry England locations.
