Summary
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Planning Officer to join Strategic Planning and Policy Unit, you will liaise and assist colleagues in the implementation of a new student record system and undertake regular returning of data to both internal and external sources as well as statutory bodies according to the agreed processes. You will undertake a review of the existing BI tools and identify the Internal reporting requirements of both the central services teams and the three facilities.
This role will provide you with opportunity to develop further and learn skills associated with collating manipulating and analysing data across a wide range of sources. You will learn or hone their skills in software such as Tableau/Alteryx/Splash BI/. This role provides the opportunity to work within a Higher Education statutory returns environment, specifically assisting in developing and implementing a new student record system, the opportunity to gain an insight into the projects implementation.

About You
As Assistant Planning Officer you will have:
Experience with Data, particularly analysing and manipulating data.
Preferably experienced in a Higher Education environment
Experience working with Statutory/Regulatory Guidelines and Returning data to any associated bodies.
