Leisure World’s Sport & Leisure service operate several leisure facilities including purpose-built Sports Park facility, 3G Rugby Pitches, 1-mile cycle track, multi-function sports halls, swimming programme, Aqua Springs Day Wellness Spa and operate a state-of-the-art fitness Technogym Wellness fitness facility and deliver over 100 live class timetable each week.
The Council are seeking casual Leisure Assistants (Dryside) to ensure that the highest possible standards of customer service are always met, including reception duties, holiday activities and birthday parties.
The role
As an essential member of the Leisure World team, you will provide an engaging and motivating environment of quality service experiences and childcare provision.
This will include setting up party sessions - bouncy castles, music and furniture, delivering activities and clearing up following the party. You will also be liaising with parents and will ensure that safety measures are adhered to throughout the day.
This role will be predominantly Saturday and Sundays during school term dates with the opportunity to work weekdays delivering other areas of Children's Services during holiday periods.
The role shall also contribute towards the overall safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the Centre.
Qualifications and skills required
To be successful in this role, you will be enthusiastic about working with children, well organised, can work independently. Full training will be provided.
