Summary

Senior Care Assistant - Maternity cover from now until June 2025 - Heartlands Nursing Home in Birmingham B26, Part of The Country Court Family
Hours: Days 39.37 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Week 1: 4 x 11.25 hour shifts , Week 2: 3 x 11.25 hour shifts)

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

Aiding residents emotional well-being and social needs
Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
Supporting residents at meals time
Mentor & assist new employees.
Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents specific needs.
Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants

Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
Have a friendly & caring attitude.
Experience of administrating medication
Able to engage well with the residents and their families.
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
