Summary


Nottingham University Hospital Trust are looking for an experienced and highly motivated physiologist to lead the training of echocardiography across the Trust. We are a BSE Accredited department and Echo Training Programme host. The successful candidate will help us support our ETP trainees and provide continuing professional development to our qualified physiologists.





Clinical work forms 60% of this post to maintain skills and contribute to service delivery. The post holder with be highly experienced in TTE and a specialist echo area such as stress echo or TOE.

You will also hold shared responsibility for the day to day running of the department, dealing with staff absences and appraisals.

Provision of high quality echo training to trainee physiologists, junior physiologists and junior doctors.

Supporting the Echo Training Programme trainees.

Providing high quality echocardiograms and advanced echo procedures.

Producing and updating departmental policies and guidelines.

Quality Assurance Audit.

Managing the team including appraisals, performance reviews, health and attendance, recuritment ect.
