Summary


We are advertising for some Band 2 Receptionists to join Unity Sexual Health on a fixed term basis until 31/03/2025. Unity Sexual Health is a comprehensive and integrated sexual health service for people living in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Our free and confidential services include:

· Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment

· Contraception care

· Pregnancy advisory services.



Unity Sexual Health is provided by University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust and works in partnership with:

· British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS)

· Brook

· MSI Reproductive Choices

· North Bristol NHS Trust

· Terrence Higgins Trust



A total of 25 hours are available. The required shift times are:

Monday: 09:30-17:00 and 08:30-17:00

Friday 08:30-13:00 and 08:30-12:00.

There is also a requirement to work one Saturday in four weeks.

There may be an opportunity for additional hours as dictated by the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job

This post-holders will be based at Central Health Clinic and work under the supervision of the Team Leader.



Essential

· Knowledge of Microsoft suite of systems including Word and Excel

· Experience in dealing with patients/customers

· Customer service skills

· Attention to detail



The post-holders will provide a comprehensive, efficient and reliable administrative service working on reception and the single point of access telephone line, handling patient enquiries and bookings for clinics being offered within Unity Sexual Health. Additional roles include maintenance of up-to-date patient records, assembly of self-test kits and support of other departments within Unity Sexual Health. Training will be provided.
