Summary
CNC Miller - Setter, Operator
- Location: Hutton, Brentwood, Essex
- Working a 4-day week (39 hours): 7.00am - 5.15pm
- Choice of working Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday
- Salary Guide: £32,450 to £39,546 pa. Plus Overtime at time and a half
A leading manufacturer and supplier of Precision Engineering products is seeking a skilled CNC Miller proficient in Setting, and Operating CNC Mills using Siemens controls. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company known for producing precision engineering products. The work involves a variety of small to medium precision tasks, including numerous one-off projects.
We are also looking for a CAD/ CAM Programmer using OneCNC. If you have used other CAD/CAM software, we would also welcome you to apply.
Duties:
- Set, and operate 3 and 4 axis CNC Mills.
- Offline Programming - CAD/CAM experience beneficial.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Produce single and multiple parts according to drawings.
- Report directly to the machine shop supervisor.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Maintain awareness of health and safety standards.
Location: Brentwood, Essex
Rate Guide: £16.00 - £19.50 per hour, plus overtime at time and a half
Start Date: Immediate
Shift: 39 hours over 4 Days Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday
Hours: 7.00am - 5.15pm
