Role overview:
The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the Finance Manager and Finance Team in the daily operations of the Finance Department, maintaining adherence to stringent deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-To report to the Finance Manager responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance Department.
-To take and process payments from private clients over the telephone as required. -To carry out credit control, in line with Willowbrook’s procedures, relating to Local Authorities, Councils and private clients as required.
-To work alongside the Team to assist with all aspects of the weekly monitoring of client’s services & cancellations.
-To complete Excel reports and other reports as required and as per Willowbrook’s procedures.
-To generate four weekly invoices for services provided within the required timescales.
-To professionally deal with any questions or queries received from clients.
-To be responsible for the monitoring and logging of company car use.
-To assist the Finance Manager and Finance Team as necessary to support with the smooth running of a busy finance office.
-To always work calmly and professionally.
-Any other reasonable duties as required of the role.
-Always ensure a clean and smart appearance during working hours. Wear sensible shoes (not trainers/pumps etc).

What are we looking for - Key skills and attributes:
To join our Finance team, the key skills and qualities we are looking for are:

-Working knowledge of Excel, with the ability to complete an Excel spreadsheet using various formulas.
-Competent in using Microsoft Office 365 applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
-Experience of working with digital systems (desirable).
-Experience of working with Local Authorities and/or Councils in a domiciliary care service (desirable).
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-A caring nature, good personal values with a will to do well.
-Good written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to cope with and work well under pressure.
-Ability to work as part of a team or independently with the ability to use own initiative.
-A positive and can-do attitude.
