Here at Serco, we are looking for an Appian Support Engineer to be responsible for providing application and technical support across all of Serco's Appian enviroments. You will become an expert in the use of Appian software tools, able to understand and make use of the tools offered to provide expert business process support and satidfy stingent KPI's.

As part of this you’ll:

- Demonstrate Strong Technical skills to resolve user raised application incidents.
- Be able to own reported issues and accurately record the investigation through to completion.
- Communicate progress with users in a clear and understandable way.
- Highlight issues that could cause further outage.
- Create Knowledge Base articles to communicate problem resolutions to Serco’s Service desk.
- Participate in post resolution reviews and contribute to cross team, Problem Record investigations.
- Provide on-call support as part of an availability rota.
- Be knowledgeable of service management tools e.g. ServiceNow.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and process.
- Stay current with all software technologies in use.


What you’ll need to do the role:


- Prior experience with BPM or Low code tools, (ideally Appian / Pega / Tibco BPM).
- Experience with Database Techniques and terminology (MariaDb / MySQL).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Demonstrated past success working within a support environment.
- The role will require flexibility in working location so that we create strong relationships with our customers and contribute proactively to the Appian team.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Be able to work in a high-pressure enviroment.
