Summary


The Divisional Governance & Risk Administration Facilitatorwill work with the Family Health Division and will support the team in its administrative responsibilities, including facilitating and promoting patient safety and learning from incidents. To support the governance managers in utilising the Ulysses incident reporting system to ensure that incidents are reported and managed in line with the Trust Incident and Investigation policy. To action/assist in the daily review of incidents, raising trends, identifying and escalating issues identified.

Additionally, you will be responsible for undertaking administrative procedures and advising on changes to improve work practices to enable the most effective use of available resources. To assist in the maintenance of robust information databases/systems that will enable the accurate collation and analysis of governance data and produce directorate and divisional reports using a wide range of software. To deal with all enquiries in a timely, effective, professional manner.

A key aspect of the role will be to support colleagues in the administration of safety incidents and the daily management and development of the Trust Risk Management System Ulysses. The post-holder will also work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams within the clinical division to assist with effective risk management processes and robust local risk registers. The post-holder will take responsibility for providing key patient safety incident and risk register reports to the divisional management team and specialty leads, supporting critical analysis to drive quality and safety improvement.
