Summary
Job title: Operations Manager
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
Working hours: full time
We have an amazing opportunity available to join one of our clients in the Derbyshire are to oversee the management of two children’s homes to ensure the best care for vulnerable children aged 8-18. You will be responsible for the following:
• Strong leadership- supporting the Registered Managers
• An understanding of Ofsted regulations and strict abidance with them
• Research into the development of plans
• To ensure all services are fully compliant with all legal, statutory, regulatory and organisational requirements.
• Contributions to budget setting.
• Networking with external organisations
• Ensure that monthly supervision takes place for the registered manager and responsible individual.
To be considered for this role you must possess the following criteria:
• 4 years’ experience as a Registered Manager within the childcare sector
• Excellent knowledge of regulations and requirements
• Understanding of commercial strategies
• A degree or equivalent qualification with formal sector related certifications
• NVQ LV5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• Experience in residential homes or placement authorities
• You must be flexible
• You must hold a Full UK Drivers’ License
• Support growth and development of our staff
