Summary

Job Purpose
The Project Product Assurance (PA) Engineer is responsible for product assurance requirements on assigned space projects

The Project Product Assurance Engineer will work with a dedicated Project PA Manager and colleagues from other disciplines (e.g., Project Management, Project Engineer, MAIT) and will support production of documentation and hardware.

The role supports the Project Product Assurance Manager for the assigned project(s).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for on time and on quality Product Assurance activities delivered within Enersys ABSL

Responsible for the supporting prevention, investigation and resolution of non-conformances on assigned projects

Responsible for the production of project documentation to meet internal PA requirements (e.g. NCRs, EIDPs, Inspection Reports)

Responsible for in-build and in-test inspection points and sign-off of associated reports or checkpoints

Responsible for the production of specialist Product Assurance analysis and documentation (PM&P, EEE, RAMS, Safety) as agreed with the Project PA Manager

The role supports the documentation of compliance of delivered product to customer specification

Qualifications
A BTEC in a STEM subject, equivalent qualification or industry experience
Knowledge / Experience
An appreciation of European Space Industry standards (to be further developed as part of the role)
Experience inspecting and accepting spacecraft hardware (to be developed as part of the role)
Experience producing inspection documentation (to be developed as part of the role)
An understanding of configuration control principles and associated project documentation (e.g. CIDL)

Strong skills with MS Office / Office 365 suite of programmes
