About the role
I am a 30-something female looking for a positive, friendly and hard-working person to help me with domestic chores that I find difficult and/or painful due to my joint problems.
The ideal candidate should be reliable, adaptable and have an eye for detail as they will be required to clean my 2-bedroom bungalow and perform other household tasks, such as making my bed, every Tuesday and Friday. The current available hours are 11:00am – 1:30pm, however there may be more hours for the right person. Please note there is no personal care involved in this position.
General duties and responsibilities will include:
• Hoovering
• Dusting
• Mopping
• Cleaning the kitchen and bathroom
• Making my bed/changing bed sheets
Person specification: Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post.
Essential:
• Good organisational skills
• Reliable
• Hard working
• An eye for detail
• Adaptable
Summary terms and conditions:
• The rate of pay for this position £14.50 per hour
• 5 hours per week: Tuesday and Friday from 11:00am to 1:30pm
• The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work normally done during 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement)
The post is subject to the following:
• A satisfactory enhanced DBS check is required for this position if successful
• Post is subject to a 3 month probation period
• The successful applicant will be required to provide details of two referees, one of which must be their current or most recent employer.
