This is a new role within our newly built team and with your Sanctions knowledge and Filter tuning techniques, you will be at the forefront of shaping our approach and helping us to explore unknown territory. You'll have the freedom to innovate and apply your expertise, and your ideas will directly impact our success. Your mission: reduce false positives while ensuring compliance and maintaining effectiveness.

What you'll need

Specifically, we're looking for:

  • An understanding of international sanctions lists including OFSI, OFAC, EU and UN.

  • Proficiency in adjusting filter parameters to minimize false positives while maintaining effectiveness.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess filter performance using historical data and ability to interpret tuning results and recommend adjustments.

  • Knowledge of filtering technologies and tools commonly used in the industry and familiarity with software solutions for sanctions screening (e.g. FircoSoft).
