Team Manager - the Roles:

We are seeking two dynamic and dedicated Supported Internship Managers to lead our supported internship program.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the program, ensuring that interns receive the necessary support to succeed in their roles. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and the interns themselves.

Role 1 will be managing our Supported Internship programme that works with local young people and has a clear focus on moving our learners into paid employment, this is done through targeted work placements within local employers.

Role 2 will be working closely with Craven College and is based in Skipton providing work placements to college learners who attend the Supported Internships programme.

You will lead a team of Employment Advisors and Job Coaches to help individuals with skills, qualifications and job matching. Your team will liaise with learners and employers, supporting learners to develop their independence and reach their full potential.

You will work closely with various departments to identify and create internship opportunities that align with business needs.

You will provide ongoing support and mentorship to interns, helping them to develop professional skills and achieve their career goals.

Collaboration with external organizations, including educational institutions and support services, to ensure a comprehensive support network for interns is required.

Team Manager - About You:

The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing internship or similar programs, preferably with a focus on supported or inclusive employment and strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities or other support needs in the workplace.

Our new managers will have excellent organizational and project management skills and exceptional people skills, building effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
