Summary

FM Conway is currently recruiting for an experienced Small Tools Fitter to work within our Plant and Workshop Division based in Dartford. This is a full-time permanent role, which offers a competitive salary and wide range of benefits.

The duties of the Small Tools Fitter role will include:

-Maintaining our fleet of small plant equipment

-Completing of paperwork following any maintenance activities

-Working as part of a team or remotely, transferring your skills to other areas when required

-Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance to our mixed fleet of plant equipment

- Carrying out inspections on plant items, ensuring they are ready for rehire and that quality items are provided at all-time for our customers

-Working safely and compliantly with risk assessments and method statements, challenging any unsafe practises

What skills and experience do you need?

To be considered for the Small Tools Fitter role you will have experience working within a similar role. You must have a full UK driving licence and your own tools. You will have an excellent understanding of the responsibilities that working within a workshop environment call for, ensuring safe systems of works are always followed and maintained. You will be IT literate and you will have knowledge of various items of plant and small tools.
