Summary
Your new company
A well known plant hire company, based in Glasgow City Centre, is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Payroll Advisor. This individual will join the team on a permanent contract. The position is office based with the hours of work being Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with flexible timings. On-site parking is available with great public transport links.
Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for; end to end payroll, monthly payroll runs, analysing data, checking for variances, performing reports back to management, bank journals, reconciliation of payroll accounts, administration of year-end returns and making payments to third parties such as CSA/Council tax etc. Deal with sundry payroll matters such as P45/ P60/ P11D/ P32. Adhoc payroll project work as well as general payroll administrative duties.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have had previous experience in a similar position with the ability to come in and hit the ground running. You must also have the ability to communicate clearly with others in both written and verbal formats. The correct individual must also have good attention to detail as this will be required regularly.2-3 years experience running end to end payroll. Full uk rights to work.
