Summary
Are you a motivated, strong team-player that is passionate about fantastic customer service?
In this supervisory role you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the yard, warehouse, and transport. Actively supporting the branch management team, your input will be key to all the daily operations in the Yard, Warehouse and Transportation.
We are looking for someone that can:
- Supervise the external yard team on a daily basis.
- Maintain efficient and accurate goods inwards procedures including stock displays and safe storage within the yard and warehouse area.
- Liaise with the Branch Manager of stock levels within yard and warehouse.
- Schedule deliveries to customers, supervise the preparation of loads to ensure the most efficient transition of deliveries.
- To serve customers within the Yard / warehouse and maintain exceptional levels of customer service at all times.
Hours of Work: An average of 40.75 hrs per week Monday to Friday including 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:00am – 12:00pm.
Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum
