Summary

6 month role with training included, as part of Artswork's Breakthrough programme, which helps young people secure their first job in the arts. The Breakthrough programme is open to any young person between the ages of 16 –25, with qualifications gained up to school or college level. (It is not suitable for those with qualifications at level 5 or above). This placement is at The Guildhall Trust.

Job description

You will work in a team to provide support for the Head of Learning and Participation and Youth Arts Coordinator, the placement involves learning about Youth Arts delivery to the local community through various art forms including music and visual arts.

The role will include:
- Assisting with the programming and delivery of workshops to young
people in The Base and the wider Portsmouth Guildhall building
- Participant and facilitator liaison/coordination
- Learning booking and ticketing systems
- Facilitating promotional material for website and social media platforms
