Grahamston House is a Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership Resource Centre situated in Falkirk. We are a 24-hour care home providing quality care to older adults living with Dementia.

At Grahamston, we pride ourselves in providing high quality, specialist care for older people with Dementia in a safe, homely environment. We have a well-established team who place those we support at the heart of everything we do, and we promote a calm and homely environment for the people who live here.

We are seeking a motivated and energised Senior Cook to support the development of our Kitchen. The successful candidate will be passionate about cooking and must be engaged to work in consultation with our Residents.

As a Senior Cook, you will be responsible for all activities within the Kitchen including, but not limited to; provision of nutritional meals, catering for dietary requirements including texture and modification in line with IDDSI, daily home baking, developing and reviewing menus on a regular basis (including cultural and significant events), stock management, supervision of kitchen staff and ensuring Cooksafe regulations are in place.

You must hold a Catering Qualification and/or Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.

You will work 37 hour per week on a 5 days over 7 days week rota basis including weekends.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
