Job description
Step Teachers are working with a "Good" Ofsted-rated school in the Northern Finchley area! This school has a diverse, vibrant learning community where expectations and standards are high, and children are helped to achieve their best. They're currently looking to find a Reception (Early Years) Supply Teacher to join their team in September 2024 in a long-term but Part-time role. The Supply Teacher will be supporting a class of well-behaved and enthusiastic Primary-level pupils. The Supply Teacher should be passionate and ready to engage with their students, contributing to the school's polite, friendly, and safe educational atmosphere.
Supply Teacher - Role:
- Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons at Key Stage 1/2 level.
- Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
- Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
- The Supply Teacher should have the ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Supply Teacher - Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Have recent experience as a Primary level Supply Teacher – Key Stage 1/2
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
