Summary

This is an opportunity to join the College at an exciting time and support in securing outstanding outcomes for all apprentices through a relentless drive to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment.

We are looking for a passionate individual with a background in apprenticeships who will be responsible for supporting the quality processes across the College Group working closely with Schools.

They will work alongside the College Quality Improvement Education Managers to ensure that the College Group quality assurance systems and processes are being implemented effectively and successfully. This will include monitoring the quality of any off-site provision. By providing this support this, it will allow apprentices to complete their apprenticeship timely.

In line with the role requirements for this role, the successful candidate is to hold a recognised teaching qualification. This may be a CertEd, DTLLS or DET, or PGCE. In addition you are required to hold a recognised Assessor and Internal Quality Assurance qualification.

The Successful candidate will possess:

•Successful track record of academic involvement in apprenticeships delivery.
•Knowledge of current issues in further and higher education especially new Apprenticeship reforms.
•Experience in supporting quality assurance activity within apprenticeships.
•Good understanding of the current Government and national priorities for FE and skills
