Summary
We are seeking a Technician to join our team. This is a position that offers training and development opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing fields. Previous engineering or manufacturing experience is a preferable, either in the plastics industry or another adjacent industry. However this is not essential provided the candidate shows to be keen to learn. Full training will be provided to the selected candidate.
## Duties
- Learn and assist in maintaining electrical and mechanical systems
- Study and interpret technical schematics and diagrams
- Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairs
- Gain experience in supervising equipment installations
- Tool changes on machines
- Insert changes on tools
- Trouble shoot any potential problems on machines
- Assist in general upkeep and cleaning/maintaining of material dryers and granulators
- Assist in any other production related matters
## Skills
- Basic understanding of engineering
- Good maths comprehension
- Mechanical knowledge to assist with repairs and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation in English

Holiday - 20 days + Bank holidays
Hours - 7AM to 4:30PM. 15 minute paid tea break at 10:00, 30 min unpaid lunch at 1:00pm
Great opportunities for pay increases as the candidate gets more and more experienced in the role and is willing to grow with the firm. Starting Pay is flexible depending on the qualifications of the candidate
