Summary
We have a great opportunity for a qualified swimming teacher to work within a private swimming pool on the Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire.
Working in conjunction with our Swimming Coordinator you will have strong organisational skills, be enthusiastic, creative and able to provide an enjoyable learning environment for children of all abilities to the highest standard. This involves the need for patience, diplomacy, imagination, good communication skills and confidence.
You will also have a minimum SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies & Toddlers certificate, alongside a current RLSS/NPLQ qualification. A current first aid at work certificate would be advantageous or prepared to undertake training to obtain. You must be willing to undergo a DBS check.
You will work 3.45pm to 7.145pm Mondays; 2.45pm to 6.15pm Tuesdays and 2pm to 6pm Wednesdays. Some paid time each week will also be required to undertake lesson planning and evaluation and is inclusive of set up / packing away pre and post lessons. Administration hours can be worked from home. This is an academic term time role working 36 weeks per year.
