Summary

Are you a recent graduate passionate about education and eager to launch your career in a supportive school environment?

At Teaching Personnel, we are looking for Graduate Teaching Assistants to support students who need extra help both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with lesson planning
- Support students with additional needs
- Provide one-on-one assistance
- Foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere

Location: Birmingham, UK

Job Type: Contract (September Start), Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)

Salary: £420 - £445 per week

Education: A minimum of a graduate degree in a related field is required.

Experience: Previous experience working with students (children or young adults) in an educational setting or similar is beneficial but not required.

Knowledge and Skills: The ideal candidate should be resilient, driven, proactive, caring, and a team player. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications or training in special education, behaviour management, or child development are advantageous.

Requirements: Must have or be willing to apply for an Enhanced Child DBS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
