Your competencies will be regularly discussed in your appraisal and supervision from the time you start with us. The progression from band 5 to 6 will be discussed in your Appraisal after a minimum of 12 months. We envisage that the journey from band 5 6 will take between 12 18 months. Once you are able and committed to deliver a Band 6 OT role as described in the Job Description, you will submit a Competency Log You will then attend an interview with the IMHT Manager and Clinical Lead aimed at appointing you to the Band 6 OT role.
