PMEICA Lead – North West
Murphy are currently recruiting a PMEICA Lead to join our growing Infrastructure Business Unit to support our AMP8 Water Frameworks in the North West of England. In this role you will provide the technical and functional leadership to our mechanical, electrical, process and commissioning teams during the concept to completion delivery of water and wastewater projects.

This position is critical to promote our ‘One Murphy’ delivery ethos; to ensure that the Framework specific PMEICA and Contract requirements are clearly understood by all members of your team; a delivery strategy is developed and implemented; appropriate resources are appointed; and strong working relationships with Client peers and the MEICA supply chain is nurtured. You will represent Murphy during both internal customer engagement and client-facing liaison.

What you will be doing

- Development and delivery of the PMEICA model for the specific Water Framework and provide routine reporting to the Framework Leadership Team
- Provide technical assurance and take ownership for the suitability of the project solution throughout the project life cycle
- Provide support to our work winning teams in the preparation of enquires, technical evaluation of bids and general PMEICA support to ensure that we have a robust scope of works and a fully integrated and coordinated design solution
- Evaluate consultant and supply chain PMEICA solutions and carry out technical appraisal of bids
- Support supply chain selection for specialist input to the design and procurement
- Support recruitment of the PMEICA team as it continues to grow
- Provide mentoring to the PMEICA team
- Liaise and engage with our Affiliate Teams
- Keep up to date with emerging water sector technologies
- Embrace digital engineering
- Support business improvement for our Infrastructure Business unit


Who are we looking for

- Self-motivated and driven individual to promote and embed consistent PMEICA delivery procedures and ethos within the entire team
- An individual with significant knowledge and experience of water project delivery within the construction industry
- Flexibility to travel to sites and offices across the North West of England
- A recognised qualification in your area of PMEICA related expertise
