INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITIES – CIVIL DESIGN ENGINEERS TO ASSOCIATE LEVEL
Due to rapid expansion, we are searching for a Consultancy who has a number of opportunities for Infrastructure/Civil Engineers - Associate to Project Engineer. The roles will complement the Civils Team in the design and delivery of a wide range of development types across the UK. The positions will be based at the Leeds office where you will work alongside an experienced team of Engineers and BIM technicians.

Subject to your experience, you will deliver projects from inception through to construction completion including the checking and approval of all relevant documents, calculations and drawings, supervising and mentoring Graduate Engineers, meeting clients and carrying out site visits/surveys as well as the developing project scopes and fee proposals for Director approval.

About you
Working in a similar role and with experience appropriate to the position, you will be a good problem solver and effective communicator who possess flexibility and initiative.
You should be able to demonstrate your building projects related civil engineering design experience.

Key Roles & Responsibilities (subject to the position):

• particularly strong in the design of drainage and external works
• strong technical knowledge within the field of civil engineering
• ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a wider team of Engineers
• production of schematic/concept designs and calculations within defined project timescales
• familiar with Innovyze Microdrainage software,
• knowledgeable with AutoCAD and Civils 3D
• conversant with all current day design codes and planning policies,
• familiar with SUDS, drainage earthworks and flood risk assessment considerations and development implications.
• liaise with other construction professionals in the development of designs
• liaise with Statutory Bodies such as Local Water Authorities, Environment Agency or Local Authority.

You should have a full UK driving license and your own transport.
