Safeguarding Officer (full time)
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
APTC Scale SO1, £29,403 to £31,350 per annum

Please note that this role is based at Norwich but there is weekly travel required to our Paston site.

We are looking for a qualified professional with extensive previous experience of working in a safeguarding and child protection role, ideally in a social work or education setting.

Key aspects of the role include working across a multi-disciplinary Wellbeing team to support students and where appropriate making referrals to children’s and adults social care on their behalf.

We are looking for an excellent communicator who will liaise with the team, support colleagues and take a leading role in working with partners on a multi-agency basis.

You will need to have excellent organisational skills as this role demands high levels of coordination, attention to detail and record keeping. There will be some evening work.
