Team Administrator
The Tool Connection sells five major brands - Laser (specialist hand tools), Gunson (classic specialist tools), Kamasa (general tool market), Power Tec (body repair) & Connect (consumables). The Tool Connection has an enviable reputation for producing high quality, interesting and innovative products into both new and established markets.
We are looking to recruit Team Administrator to join our expanding Procurement team.
Working along side our team of administrators, under the guidance of the team leader and manager, you will help develop the company’s brands and managing stock and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, previous experience in stock management and order processing. However, we highly value enthusiasm, drive and positivity and would therefore welcome applications from candidates with experience in other areas with those important transferable skills.
Location: This is an office based role in Southam, Warwickshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday working 9am – 17.00pm.
The Role:
Working as part of the Purchasing Team, providing efficient and effective support to the Manager and Procurement team leader in developing the company’s brands and managing stock and suppliers.
· Preparing stock reports in excel for each supplier and for items bought by specific customers
· Entering purchase orders onto electronic system and emailing these to suppliers
· Obtaining quotes for spare parts
· Setting up new part numbers for spares & customer special items
· Checking item specific set ups taking into account for prices, country of origin and box quantities etc
· Keeping purchase prices up to date
· Chasing supplier orders
· Keep freight uplifts on system up to date
· Provide cover as required for department
· Filing and answering the telephone for internal and external calls
· Assist the wider team with re branding/relabeling as and when required
The Person:
Essential skills:
· IT skills, that must include Microsoft excel
· Strong mathematical ability
· Ability to work on own initiative
· A good team player
· Excellent communication skills
· High attention to detail
Desirable skills that would be an advantage:
· Sap B1 experience
· Stock management and order processing
· Excellent time management and planning skills.
