Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and experienced person to take a lead in the management of the Council’s Supported Housing Service incorporating Sheltered, Extra Care and Supported Living housing. To have the strategic focus with the ability to operationally deliver and work with us to continue to be the best landlord, changing lives for the better and strengthening communities.

About the role


You’ll motivate, lead and inspire the teams to ensure the effective delivery of all services within the Sheltered Housing Service.

You’ll actively ensure the effectiveness of customer involvement in the service. Be accountable to customers for service development and delivery, ensuring that customer service is routinely tested and translated into sustainable improvements.



You’ll review, recommend, and implement changes to policy, strategy, and procedure, to maximise effective use of available resources, budgets and to ensure quality control and compliance with tenancy satisfaction measures and regulatory requirements.



You’ll work in partnership with other teams, services and external clients and contractors to build, manage and maintain positive relationships to ensure we are able to support the lives that matter to our customers.

About you



You’ll have extensive knowledge of Housing legislation and support services, with experience in the provision of supported housing and or older persons support services.



You’ll have proven experience of project management and working knowledge in leading and manging change initiatives.



You’ll have the ability to communicate to a high standard, both verbally and in writing, to a range of customers, clients and staff and demonstrate analytical skills that can be carried through to quality decisions and / or recommendations.



You’ll have personal integrity, adaptability and resilience with highly developed organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
