Planning Lawyer
Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Planning Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team. As a Planning Lawyer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of planning and development matters, providing legal advice and support to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will play a key role in helping clients navigate complex planning processes, advising on land use, zoning, and environmental impact assessments.
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and analyze planning legislation and regulations
Provide legal advice and guidance on planning and development matters
Assist clients in preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
Attend meetings with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to negotiate planning agreements
Prepare and review legal documents, including planning agreements, contracts, and lease agreements
Represent clients in planning-related disputes and appeal hearings
Stay updated on changes in planning laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements
Law degree from an accredited university
Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Minimum of 3 years of experience in planning law or related field
Strong knowledge of planning legislation, regulations, and procedures
Experience working with public and private sector clients
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong time management and organizational skills
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £42.94
