We are a Catholic secondary school and sixth form in Hull, recently graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, including for our Sixth Form provision. We’re offering an outstanding graduate the opportunity to join our thriving Sixth Form academic and pastoral support team for the upcoming academic year. As well as supporting the wider sixth form team operational activity, the successful candidate will be working in small groups and on a 1:1 basis with 16–19-year-old students. Your remit will focus on supporting operational activity, marketing, school liaison and sixth form student progression. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our increasingly popular Extended Project Qualification. Your focus will therefore involve enabling our students to achieve their full academic potential, preparing them for the rigour of high-level University study. In our most recent OFSTED inspection (October 2023), St Mary’s College was judged as OUTSTANDING in all areas, with the inspectors stating: ‘St Mary’s College is a highly ambitious school,’ with this ambition evident, ‘in all areas of the curriculum’.
