Hours: 5 hours a week, Mon – Fri 8 – 9 am, 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Start Date: 3rd September 2024 or as soon as possible afterwards
We wish to appoint a Breakfast Club supervisor. An ability to contribute to the warm, nurturing, inclusive ethos of the school is essential.
The suitable candidate will be helping supervise the children as they are served and eat their breakfast, or preparing and serving the breakfast food. Responsibilities will include helping and supervising children, playing with the children, tidying away, clearing and cleaning, and maintaining a safe eating environment. There is a need to be kind, warm, caring, patient, approachable, hard-working and able to take initiative – if you see something that needs doing to help the Breakfast Club remain safe and happy, you’ll do it!
Training will be provided as required, such as safeguarding, emergency first aid and food hygiene.

This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
