We are actively seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join a vibrant specialist school in the LS17 area, committed to nurturing the potential of every student with additional needs. If you have UK-based experience and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children with SEN, this full-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:30 am-03:30 pm, could be your ideal fit.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience supporting children with SEN within the UK.

- Familiarity with the UK curriculum is crucial.

- Valid Enhanced Child DBS certificate.

- Ideally, a background in education or relevant qualifications.

- A profound understanding of SEN support strategies and the ability to navigate a diverse learning environment with patience and empathy.

- Appreciation of each child's uniqueness, necessitating personalized learning approaches.

- Full-time availability is essential.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate in designing and delivering engaging learning activities tailored to individual student needs.

- Provide personalized academic and emotional support, whether through one-on-one sessions or small group settings.

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere by working closely with teachers, parents, and colleagues.

- Facilitate a supportive environment conducive to student growth and development.
