Rugby Borough Council is looking to recruit an experienced and versatile lawyer to the role of Legal & Governance Manager. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the management of the legal services team as well as undertaking the deputy monitoring officer role.

Supporting the Chief Officer – Legal & Governance in delivering the corporate vision, values and strategic priorities of the Council, you will act as advisor and work in collaboration with other services, and senior management to ensure that services are joined up appropriately and are aligned to the achievement of the Council’s aims and objectives.

This role will suit adaptable, flexible individuals with strong leadership skills who are committed to ensuring a high-quality work standard and continually seek to improve performance.
