Summary
Through Safe at Home, you will support older residents who have been or are vulnerable to being victims of crime at home. You will work with the local police to provide home security interventions for older residents who the police report need support, and you will work through our existing community services to find appropriate older people for the project. You will advise and carry out home safety and security checks throughout Lambeth (Note: you will need your own transport).

You will possess problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve lock-related issues.
Ensure accurate installation and repair work.
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and provide clear instructions.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the local police and community organisations.
Attend local events to network and promote the service and create referrals.
Able to carry out home safety assessments to identify areas of risk within the home and provide information and advice to help protect people at home and their property.
Using our Podio system, record all 1:1 interactions and the beneficiary's experiences.
