Halo Recruit are working in partnership with a leading soft furnishing recycling facility to recruit for a number of experienced Mattress Recycling Operatives to work at their site based in Riddings, near Alfreton.

Duties of the Role:

Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, the main duties of the role will include:

  • Loading and unloading used mattresses on and off trailers by hand
  • Sorting, stacking and bailing the mattresses for recycling
  • Cutting and stripping of mattresses and their springs, using hand tools

This is a very fast-paced and physical job, and requires candidates who are comfortable with manual work and lifting loads of up to 25kg at a time.

Desirable Experience:

We are seeking candidates who have previous experience working in a physically demanding role, and who are committed and reliable.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, therefore only candidates who are reliable, committed and looking for a long-term, permanent position should apply.

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday, 6am - 1:30pm, with some overtime available.

Rate of Pay:

This role pays £11.44 per hour, paid weekly in arrears. The Company also offer a bonus scheme for achieving and exceeding their production targets and KPIs.
